The Art of Sexual Ecstasy
Expanding the Sex and Navel Centers

In this first step you will flood the two lowest centers - the genitals and the navel - with sexual energy.

Stimulate the nipples, pressing and turning them between you index finger and thumb, breathing deeply and moving your chest to help the sensations spread through you breasts.

Then move your hands down and massage your belly and navel area in circles. Follow the movement that feel right for you.

You can also enhance sensations in each energy center by applying in a circular fashion the following specific essence to each center:

• Navel: Sage

• Solar Plexus: Tiger Balm

• Heart: Rose

• Throat: Eucalyptus

• Third Eye: Mint

• Crown: Lavender or rose

...behind the ears; on the eyelids, above and below the eyes; on the lips; inside the elbows and the wrists; on the palms of the hands; around on top of the nipples and the navel; around the pubic area; and on other areas you will discover yourself.

Once you have covered the whole body with light caress, stand above your partner, straddling the waist and facing his or her head, lean down, and with both hands energetically sweep from the navel up across the chest, down the shoulders and arms in unified flowing motions, inhaling and exhaling as you do so. Repeat the movement three or four times with theaim of interconnecting all the parts of the upper body. Then take a couple of steps back. Straddle his or her lower legs, and do the same light brushing movements, starting from the navel and sweeping down over the pelvis, thighs, legs, and feet.

The Lower Belly Chakra
The second chakra is located just below the navel. It is the body's natural center of balance and movement. In the tradition of China and Japan, where it is called hara, it is seen as the source of the body's vitality and the center of gravity for the martial arts. When your energy flows freely through this center, you feel strength, vitality, and an aliveness that exudes from a healthy, relaxed body.

My personal preference is to wear fragrances. Covering your body with perfumes and essential oils of plants creates an atmosphere of luxury and romance. The use of different fragrances on different parts of the body can surprise and delight your partner. For instance:

Mistranslation? Perhaps. Psychologically speaking, an extreme attraction for a woman's navel might imply a deep-seated for of mother love, a strong desire to return to the womb, but this latter mental syndrome is a theory that was faddish at one time but is rarely referred to these days when Freudian treatments and analytical practices are not as popular as they once were.

What kind of physical contact may be made with this fetish object? In addition to the insertion of a man's penis into a woman's navel, constitute the act of navel intercourse, a male can obviously "French kiss" his lover's navel, sexually stimulating her umbilicus with his tongue. The physical position that he must take for this act is an influential one, psychosexually speaking, in that he must literally "lower" himself - figuratively kneeling before her - in order to stimulate this central portion of her anatomy orally.
